2025 NBA Playoff Bracket, Schedule, and Results

The second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs is beginning to take shape. Eleven teams remain in contention, with five having already advanced: the Thunder, Cavaliers, Pacers, Celtics, and Timberwolves. The Timberwolves eliminated the Lakers from the playoffs on Wednesday night. The sixth-seeded Minnesota team, led by Anthony Edwards, defeated LeBron James and Luka Dončić in five games.

Three first-round series are set to go to a Game 6. In the Knicks-Pistons, Nuggets-Clippers, and Rockets-Warriors series, the score stands at 3-2 after five games, with New York, Denver, and Golden State needing one more win to advance.

The field of playoff teams will be narrowed down to eight by the end of the weekend, and the second round is scheduled to commence on or before Monday, May 5.
