Betting odds indicate that Dustin Poirier may not be considering retirement in the immediate future, at least according to oddsmakers.
Recently, President Donald Trump announced intentions to hold a UFC event on the grounds of the White House sometime in 2026. This event is planned as part of the celebration for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Given the close ties between Trump and UFC CEO Dana White, the possibility of this event materializing appears significant. Several prominent fighters, including Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, have already expressed interest in competing on such a historic card.
However, oddsmakers seem to believe that the fighters currently slated to headline upcoming UFC pay-per-view events are the most likely candidates for the top bout at the White House.
On Sunday, BetOnline.ag released initial odds regarding which fighters might headline the potential 2026 UFC White House event. Dustin Poirier was listed as the favorite with odds of +250. Max Holloway followed as the second most likely contender at +300, with Sean O’Malley rounding out the top three at +400.
Notably, Conor McGregor, a vocal supporter of Trump who even attended his inauguration, was ranked further down the list, placing eighth with odds of +1000.
