BKFC Fighter Brawl: Scale Used as Weapon at Weigh-Ins

MMA News

Talk about scaling things up.

On Wednesday at the weigh-ins for BKFC Fight Night: Hollywood in Hollywood, FL, co-main event fighters Leonardo Perdomo and Steve Herelius became the center of attention. A brawl erupted between them, and Herelius notably grabbed the weigh-in scale and swung it as a weapon.

Following the weigh-in, Perdomo and Herelius engaged in trash talk while posing for photos. After their verbal exchange, Herelius flicked his hand towards Perdomo’s nose, prompting Perdomo to respond with a punch and a shove. Security intervened, and the situation appeared to be calming down. However, Herelius then grabbed the weigh-in scale and attempted to approach Perdomo again. Security subsequently restrained Herelius, and BKFC President David Feldman took the scale from him.
