Corey Jackson secured the first knockout of the Dirty Boxing 1 event.
At Saturday`s fight night in Miami, Jackson clashed with Marcellus Wallace in a lightweight preliminary match held at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour.
As the first round neared its end, with under 30 seconds left, Wallace attempted a Superman elbow, but it fell short. Jackson seized the moment, unleashing a powerful right hand that instantly knocked Wallace unconscious. Despite a delayed reaction from the referee, Jackson landed follow-up strikes reminiscent of Dan Henderson, ultimately ending the fight.
Jackson, a seasoned fighter with prior experience in Bellator and PFL, now holds a perfect 2-0 record in Dirty Boxing. He previously participated in Mike Perry`s exclusive VIP event in November, where he achieved a second-round knockout against Chris Burton. At 36 years old, Jackson is also a former NFC featherweight MMA champion.
