Chase Hooper is making his way to Chicago to compete on another pay-per-view event card.
Sources familiar with the promotion`s plans confirmed that a lightweight fight has been arranged between Hooper and Alexander Hernandez for UFC 319. The event is scheduled to be held at the United Center in Chicago.
Hooper enters this upcoming bout riding an impressive five-fight winning streak since moving from the featherweight division to the 155-pound lightweight category. Known as “The Dream,” he kicked off his 2025 campaign with a unanimous decision victory over veteran Jim Miller at UFC 314 in April. The 25-year-old has successfully submitted three of his opponents in his last four outings.
Hernandez is slated to make his 16th appearance inside the octagon. He is currently on his first win streak since his initial two fights under the UFC banner. In his two most recent performances, “The Great Ape” secured decision wins against Austin Hubbard and Kurt Holobaugh.
The UFC 319 card is headlined by a highly anticipated middleweight championship confrontation between Dricus du Plessis and the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev.
