Where is Raducanu playing next?

Emma Raducanu is currently competing at Wimbledon, the location of her 2021 breakthrough, despite dealing with a back issue that emerged after playing in Strasbourg in May.

Despite this, she won her first-round match against fellow Brit Mimi Xu with a score of 6-3, 6-3. She then delivered arguably her strongest performance in years, defeating 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova by the same scoreline, 6-3, 6-3.

After reaching the quarter-finals of the Miami Open, she took a break from the WTA Tour. She used this time for a training block with Petchey, who had assisted her in Florida, focusing on her serve in preparation for the clay-court season.

Raducanu did not have a permanent coach after splitting with Nick Cavaday in January. Prior to Petchey joining her team, she had a two-week trial with Vladimir Platenik.

Raducanu started her 2025 season at the Australian Open, reaching the third round before losing to Iga Swiatek in straight sets.

As the British No. 2, she next played at the Singapore Open, where she was defeated in a challenging three-hour first-round match by world No. 101 Cristina Bucsa of Spain.

Within a week, she experienced further disappointing first-round exits: in Abu Dhabi against former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova, and then against Ekaterina Alexandrova in Qatar.

She ended a four-match losing streak with a victory over former world No. 3 Maria Sakkari in the first round of the Dubai Tennis Championships. However, she then lost in straight sets to Karolina Muchova in the following round.

Raducanu returned in March at Indian Wells, where she was defeated in the first round by Japan`s Moyuka Uchijima. Following this, she had a superb performance in Miami.

Nonetheless, Raducanu achieved her best result in a WTA 1000 event in March, reaching the quarter-finals of the Miami Open, just weeks after her first-round exit in Indian Wells.

Raducanu withdrew from Great Britain`s Billie Jean King Cup qualifying team for ties against the Netherlands and Germany. Britain went on to win these ties and reach the finals later in the year.

Her clay-court season commenced at the Madrid Open. She secured an impressive straight-sets win against Suzan Lamens in the first round but then lost to Ukraine`s Marta Kostyuk in a closely contested second-round match (6-4, 2-6, 6-2).

Raducanu defeated Maya Joint, Jil Teichmann, and Veronika Kudermetova at the Italian Open in Rome before her run ended against fourth seed Coco Gauff in the Round of 16.

At the Strasbourg Open, Raducanu achieved her first career win on clay against a top-20 player, defeating world No. 17 Daria Kasatkina. However, she required back treatment during her loss to Danielle Collins (4-6, 6-1, 6-3) in the Round of 16.

At the French Open, Raducanu won her first-round match against China`s Wang Xinyu but was then defeated in the second round by four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek (6-1, 6-2).

At Queen`s Club, Raducanu reached the quarter-finals with wins over Cristina Bucșa (6-1, 6-2) and Rebecca Sramkova (6-4, 6-1). She was then eliminated by top seed Qinwen Zheng (6-2, 6-4).

She missed the Berlin Open but participated in the Eastbourne Open. As the seventh seed, she defeated Ann Li but subsequently lost to Australian Maya Joint. This match saw her stage a remarkable comeback from 5-2 down in the deciding set, only to lose in the tie-break.

How many Grand Slam titles has Raducanu won?

To date, her victory at the 2021 US Open is Raducanu`s only Grand Slam title.
