Boxer Jake Paul is taking a strong stance against persistent accusations and falsehoods regarding his professional fights.
Following criticism from media personality Piers Morgan, who labeled Paul`s bouts as an “unwatchable farce” and “staged” – remarks made while promoting his own content where he had previously mocked Paul – the fighter is fighting back.
This prompted Nakisa Bidarian, co-promoter for Most Valuable Promotions alongside Paul, to respond, stating the company was considering legal action against Morgan and anyone else making fight-fixing allegations. Paul subsequently reinforced this warning.
“After years of brushing it off as just `haters being haters,` I`ve instructed my team to aggressively pursue legal action against anyone fabricating falsehoods about my boxing career,” Paul declared. “Expect to be served, you pigs.”
Allegations of Paul`s fights being fixed or staged have followed him since he began boxing. These claims intensified particularly after his striking knockout of former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in their December 2021 rematch and, more recently, his points victory over former heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson in November.
Paul holds a record of seven wins in his last eight bouts, including victories over notable former UFC fighters such as middleweight champion Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, and Mike Perry.
