Jon Jones Becomes Co-Owner of Dirty Boxing

MMA News

MMA star Jon Jones is partnering with Mike Perry.

Dirty Boxing Championship revealed on Friday that Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion and former light heavyweight champion, has become a co-owner of the organization. TMZ initially reported this news.

Jones stated, “I was immediately impressed by Dirty Boxing. I believe it will become a major force in combat sports, and I`m excited to be a part of it.”

This move extends Jones` collaboration with his managers, Malki and Abe Kawa, who co-founded Dirty Boxing with Perry in 2024. Dirty Boxing rules include 5-ounce gloves, elbows, and limited ground strikes.

Dirty Boxing`s next event is on Saturday, featuring Yoel Romero vs. Ras Hylton in the main event and Andrei Arlovski vs. Terrance Hodges in the co-main event.

Jones is expected to attend the event in Miami.

Jones` future in the UFC is uncertain as fans await news on a potential fight with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. Jones has downplayed Aspinall`s challenge and has shown more interest in fighting Alex Pereira.
