Leon Edwards experienced another tough defeat at UFC London, and Belal Muhammad is ensuring he doesn`t forget it anytime soon.
In Saturday`s main event at the O2 Arena, Sean Brady delivered a dominant performance against Edwards. Brady`s wrestling and work rate overwhelmed Edwards for three rounds before securing a fight-ending guillotine choke in the fourth, defeating the former welterweight champion. Throughout Brady`s impressive showing, Muhammad took to social media, making his opinions about his long-time rival Edwards very clear.
Muhammad previously secured a decisive victory over Edwards at UFC 304 in London last July, claiming the welterweight title. Edwards and his team have often cited the early morning start time as a negative influence on Edwards` performance in that fight. However, Muhammad isn`t buying these excuses. During the Brady vs. Edwards fight, he joked, “What time is it in London? Just asking for Leon.”
He further added, “Looks like Leon is still operating on 5 a.m. time.”
