Nikola Jokic, known for taking long-distance shots at the end of quarters, continues to surprise. This season, he leads the league with 20 such attempts from beyond half court.
Recently, Jokic made his second successful shot from this distance – a remarkable 62-footer against the Jazz. He casually launched the ball with one hand and one foot just before halftime.
This incredible shot, resembling a Euro step from the opposite free-throw line, was undeniably legitimate.
Jokic`s skill makes these difficult shots seem effortless. His first successful long shot this season was even further away, also a one-handed flip.
With these two shots, Jokic and Stephen Curry are now the only players in NBA history to sink two shots from 60 feet or more in a single season.
Adding to his achievements, this buzzer-beater also marked Jokic reaching 16,003 career points. He is now the fastest player in NBA history to reach 16,000 points, 8,000 rebounds, and 5,000 assists, achieving this in just 739 games, surpassing Larry Bird`s previous record of 799 games.
