PFL has announced the tragic passing of longtime staff member Jeff Brady.
Brady died on Sunday in Arizona while heroically saving two children who were drowning in a river. He served as an operations manager for the league, having previously held the same role at Bellator, overseeing merchandise and consumer products.
The news was shared with an emotional tribute from his twin brother, Greg Brady, who posted about the loss and Jeff`s bravery on Instagram.
Greg described his brother as “my best friend, my other half, and now my hero,” recounting how Jeff gave his life saving the boys. He emphasized Jeff`s selfless and fearless nature, always prioritizing others and acting without hesitation when he saw someone in need.
Expressing the profound pain of losing his twin, Greg also conveyed immense pride in the man Jeff was and the hero he will be remembered as. He encouraged others to honor Jeff by living with similar courage and kindness, concluding that “Heaven gained a Viking Angel.”
Following the announcement, numerous fighters from across the sport, including former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, Cris Cyborg, Dakota Ditcheva, and Patricio and Patricky Pitbull, offered their condolences and shared tributes to Jeff Brady and his family.
