The battle for the men`s trophy is expected to be fierce, featuring players like two-time defending champion Alcaraz, seven-time winner Novak Djokovic, world No 1 Jannik Sinner, and Britain`s leading player, Jack Draper. On the women`s side, Krejcikova will compete against a strong field that includes former champions and Grand Slam winners, such as Emma Raducanu.
When and Where is Wimbledon 2025?
The Wimbledon Championships 2025 will be held at the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) in Wimbledon, London. The official tournament draw is scheduled for 10 am UK time on Friday, June 27.
Main draw matches will commence on Monday, June 30. The Women`s Singles Final is set for Saturday, July 12, followed by the Men`s Singles Final on Sunday, July 13.
The wheelchair draws will take place from Tuesday, July 8, to Sunday, July 13.
The junior tournaments are scheduled between Saturday, July 5, and Sunday, July 13.
The AELTC has been the venue for the Championships since 1877. It features 18 show courts, including Centre Court with a capacity of 14,979, No 1 Court holding 12,345 seats, and No.2 Court with seating for 4,000 fans.
Which British players are competing at Wimbledon 2025?
Great Britain`s challenge is led by Emma Raducanu, who hopes to improve on her 2024 performance where she reached the last 16. The 2021 US Open champion has returned to the top 50 and is currently the British No 1.
British No 2 Katie Boulter reached the second round last year, losing to fellow Brit Harriet Dart. Dart will also feature in the main draw for her seventh appearance since 2018.
Sonay Kartal will participate in the main draw for the fourth time after making the third round as a qualifier last year. Jodie Burrage is back after missing last year due to injury, alongside Heather Watson and Fran Jones. Teenagers Mimi Xu, Hannah Klugman, and Mika Stojsavljevic have received wild cards into the main draw.

In wheelchair tennis, Alfie Hewett will defend his men`s singles title and partner Gordon Reid to attempt to retain the doubles title for a record seventh consecutive year. Andy Lapthorne competes in the quad draw, while Lucy Shuker and Cornelia Oosthuizen are listed as women`s singles alternates. Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward have received wild cards into the men`s draws, and Greg Slade is in the quad draw.
